ORACLE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER
Experience: 4+ years Work Location : UK
PERSON PROFILE
At least 4 years in IT in commercial organisations, and 2 years working with one or more functional modules of Oracle applications / e-business suite
Strong experience of both developing and supporting applications developed using Oracle
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good systems analysis and testing skills
Good client facing skills
Good problem solving skills
Good unit testing skills
Able to respond to and resolve client queries and requests
A proactive approach and ability to work with limited assistance from others
Works well in a team
An ability to work well under pressure
A flexible approach
Ability to work shift patterns and provide out of hour’s on-call support an advantage
Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly HRMS, Purchasing, Financials and CRM
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Knowledge and practical experience of:
Oracle Forms and Reports 6i or above
PL/SQL, Oracle 9i or above, SQL*Plus
Unit Testing, Fault investigation
Technical Specifications and Design
Analysis and Design
Knowledge and practical experience of some of the following is desirable:
Oracle Developer/Designer 2000
TOAD
Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.8, 9 or 10 (specifically Financials, iPayment, iStore, iSupport, CRM, HR, Order Management, manufacturing, Cash Management, ADI and Purchasing )
9iAS
SQL*Loader , XML, Java
SQL Performance Tuning and Design
Unix Shell Scripting
